At some point in our lives, we all find ourselves on broken roads and in desperate and hurting places. These places can feel very lonely and isolating.  You might be wondering if it will ever get better or if there is any hope.  I want you to know there is hope and there is help.  You don't have to travel this road alone.  It is my desire to join you on your journey to healing.  Everyone's story is unique.  Maybe you are looking for relief from your pain; or to make sense of the hurt inside. Maybe you are seeking help in coping with a relational distress, abuse or repeated traumas.  Possibly, you simply want to move in a healthier direction.  As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, it is my desire to invest in your healing and growth.  Providing you with a safe experience in the counseling room is just the beginning.  Holding hope when it seems so very hard to find is my privilege.  You will be treated with care and professionalism.  I use the  integration of  a variety of  therapy techniques according to your specific needs to bring healing.

I received my Master's in Counseling degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation (therefore, I welcome faith into the room if the client wishes).  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from MNU.  I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas and am licensed in the state of Missouri, also. In addition, I am a Certified EMDR Level One and Level Two therapist. EMDR is a type of therapy that insurance companies have approved for those who have experienced traumas or have PTSD.  My therapy approach draws from an attachment- based and experiential perspective. Being seen, heard and valued is just the beginning of your treatment. You will be treated with kindness and professionalism.  My wide variety of life experiences allows me the opportunity of connecting and treating your personal issues with understanding and competence.
